Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation technique, sometimes
known as Yogic Sleep. It is one of the deepest possible states of relaxation
while still maintaining full consciousness. It is a mood of awareness between
everyday wakefulness and deep sleep. All levels of our being (physical, mental,
emotional & spiritual) are completely relaxed, which enhances our ability
to hear our true wisdom, the superconsciousness. We are serene yet alert;
peaceful yet powerful.

In this guided practice, you lie down in a comfortable
position and simply listen to the sound of my voice leading you into a place of
deep peacefulness. You withdraw from external stimulation (except hearing the
sound of my voice) to the internal meditative state of samadhi (bliss). You
breathe with awareness, create a Sankalpa (a powerful intention/resolve),
experience a journey of rotation of consciousness around the body, connect with
a visualisation, and rest in stillness.
