Description
The Huia bird is now extinct, but traditionally the Huia feather was worn by Maori to signify leadership and mana. The perfect compliment to Kapa Haka costumes and for those who like the stark and stylish black and white.
These earrings are beautiful, light and very finely crafted by hand from discarded bicycle inner tubes. Suitable for all ages, size range is 5.2cm-9.5cm and available in gold or silver hook (scroll down to select your options). Please excuse my slightly red ear in the photos. This is the result of me inserting about 20 different pairs of earrings without a mirror and hunting for the hole each time!!
Each pair of earrings is lovingly crafted by me and each one feels like one of my babies and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with your purchase. I normally ship in 1-2 days and send you a photo of your particular bespoke earrings for your approval before sending. You are also welcome to pick up if you happen to live in Auckland. Talk to you soon.
