Although Nelson Honey has been beekeeping since 1899, the brilliance, untamed and tireless spirit of our bees will not cease to amaze us. Our bees found a home at The Pear Orchard situated in the heart of the Nelson Tasman region in Hope.

It was only by chance when one of our beekeepers tasted the honey from the hive, that he recognized the taste of clover but also the slight taste of pear. It is the pear flower’s pollen gathered by the bees and composed into honey cells which created this unique taste.

We decided to share with the real honey gourmets this delicate taste of 100% pure Pear Nectar Honey and produced this limited edition.
