All my prints are in colour, on acid-free 170gsm A4 Matte Archival paper.
Digital art is created by me, in this case using vector art software.
Pukeko (spookies, Australasian swamp-hens, whatever you wish to refer to them as) are a pretty common sight around where I was living for a while (we actually had some living in our backyard, they are noisy) and despite being common across New Zealand and Australia, are looked upon with a mixture of fondness and exasperation. Next to them is the endangered Takah?, who at a glance looks very similar, but is much bigger and stockier. With the two looking so similar, they had to share the scene, creating a cute suggestion of “follow the leader” in this piece.
