This piece carved by Nick Spicer Balme, is matte polished and waxed to bring out the brilliance of New Zealand Jade.

Included : A waxed and adjustable plaited cord and an eco stamped gift box.

Description

Hei Toki​

The Hei toki is a working
tool, originally used for carving wood. It is a shape that is commonly
seen as masculine strength, logic, and hardwork. Directly translating
from the Maori to hanging (Hei) adze (Toki). Known in other cultures as
an Axe or Celt. This adornment is the representation of what was once a
functional object. Although some of the representations of the Hei Toki
are true to the working tool, others hint at a more contemporary style.
Artifacts made traditionally in New Zealand have been found in Pounamu,
Argillite, Greywacke and Basalt.

The time we need to prepare an order for shipping varies between 1 to 3 working days.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

If you receive your item with a fault due to a carver's mistake please contact us within 7 days following the delivery.
We will be in contact with you as soon as possible and arrange either a repair or a refund of the item.

If you are not satisfied with your item, feel free to contact us within 7 days and we can arrange a return. You will receive a refund of 70% of the price.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Kawakawa Stone is not liable for any items damaged or lost in transit.
