Glass Art – Large Encased Floral Pendant – Pinks and Greens
A gorgeous pendant with flowers in beautiful shades of pink, a hint of mauve and a base of vibrant transparent grass green.
The second photo contains a different bead that can be made into this pendant.
These unique and beautiful glass pieces have been lovingly handmade from scratch.
The encased floral bead is 2.5cm wide and 20mm tall. It contains several layers of glass and special techniques to create the flowers and vines. It takes 8 layers of glass to create such a bead and the final layer encases the detail and creates a and a mesmerising, water-colour effect. A little Swarovski crystal has been added to the top of the pendant.
The chain is made from solid sterling silver and is 60cm in length.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH BEAD IS HANDMADE SO EACH PENDANT WILL BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT, WHICH ADDS TO THEIR UNIQUE BEAUTY.

Description
Selma is a self-taught lampwork artist, and she has been creating glass pieces for nearly fourteen years. Using soft glass rods, imported from Venice and a specialised “lampwork” torch, these unique little pieces of art are created, one at a time. She then uses a specialised kiln to cool down the glass as well as annealing/hardening it.
