Shipping policy

Shipping Policy for Gift Boxed Tauranga

Rural deliveries
Rural deliveries incur a small extra charge due to the extra cost for sending to rural addresses. Delivery usually takes 2-4 working days, depending on location. Times can vary (see late delivery).

Delayed delivery
Late delivery does not entitle the purchaser to a refund. We will endeavor to deliver goods at the agreed delivery time, But as we use a 3rd party service for most our deliveries, we will not be liable for late delivery.

Gift Boxed Tauranga delivers Gift Boxes throughout New Zealand.
Orders made on a normal week day between Monday to Thursday will be picked up by delivery service the following day and normally delivered the following working day (except rural deliveries which take 2-4 working days). Orders placed between Friday to Sunday will be sent on Monday.

Please note :
Orders placed will not always be dispatched the same day, and orders placed during the weekend or public holidays will be processed on Monday for Tuesday delivery to most areas. There are no deliveries on public holidays.

Tauranga deliveries may be delivered on the day purchased at times or the follow day depending on current demand due to being a solo running business.

Signature Required
All courier deliveries are 'signature required'. If there is no one home the courier will leave a card so that the recipient can phone to re-arrange delivery. Please state in the comments field if you wish the package to be 'signature not required' and we will ask the courier to leave it even if no one is home.

Delivery Charges:
Delivery to all NZ - $5.50+ depending on products.
Rural Delivery - $8.50 
Saturday Deliveries - can be arranged in some instances. Please contact us at Giftboxedtauranga@gmail.com. Extra charges will apply.

Refund Policy


To start a return, you can contact us at giftboxedtauranga@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
