Description

A Happy Sea T-Shirt is a collaboration with Yaniv Janson, an internationally acclaimed artist from Raglan, NZ.  At an early age, Yaniv was diagnosed with both autism and epilepsy, but his purpose is to encourage those around him to take action toward environmental sustainability, by showing that nothing can hold you back. As such, Yaniv has participated in more than 40 exhibitions worldwide. In 2018 Yaniv was personally invited to solo exhibit a collection of his breathtaking works at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. His stunning A Happy Sea painting was a feature of this this exhibition.

Yaniv eloquently describes what A Happy Sea is all about: “A happy ocean is filled with many things that are full of life, colours and shapes. You can even see happiness if you look hard enough. Everything below the ocean surface keeps changing all the time and this is a happy thing. This is how you will see the ocean once we take care of it. Sea Anemones are all kinds of colours, shapes and sizes. You will see many Sea Anemones in this painting as they should help to make us all happy. They are beautiful, they are happy and in the position they want to be in and they are colourful.  This painting is to show people what they have and want – which is a healthy sea and A Happy Sea.”

Shipping Policy

New Zealand

Delivery times are approximate. Please supply a physical address where your item can be signed for 9am – 5pm weekdays. Delivery cannot be made to a PO Box.

Tracked Delivery

1-2 working days (within main centres)

However this may vary with changes in Covid-19 alert levels.

Delivery fees as quoted at checkout for deliveries within New Zealand (excluding outer Islands)

International

International delivery is not currently offered but can usually be arranged on request. For details please email us at famineofbeautynz@gmail.com.

When shipping internationally costs quoted do not account for any import charges, customs duties, sales tax or other fees upon arrival in your destination. Famine of Beauty takes no responsibility for any charges that may apply upon arrival. For further information please contact your local Customs Services.

Dispatch timing

Orders will be processed within standard business hours (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm). Any orders received outside of these times will be processed the next business working day. Processing of your order may take up to 48 working hours. Shipping estimates are additional to this processing time.

We will email you confirmation and your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation Policy

Once an order has been placed you may not cancel the order as goods are often packaged and shipped the same day. Please select carefully before placing an order.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the goods are faulty or an incorrect item is shipped. If you receive a refund for goods that are faulty or an incorrect item is shipped, the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund upon confirmation of reasonable costs.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Return shipping to Famine of Beauty is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or an incorrect item is shipped. Famine of Beauty is not responsible for the safety of the item/s in transit. It is your responsibility to send in an appropriate and safe manner.

All items must be received in an unworn, unwashed and unaltered state with all tags and packaging in an as new condition. Once the item/s has been checked, a replacement product will be sent to you at the cost of Famine of Beauty.

We will email you confirmation once your replacement item has been dispatched.
